Terms of Service

Last updated: August 26, 2026

1. Service Provider and Service Description

The PassEPSO service is provided by Pass EPSO S.à r.l.-S, a Luxembourg Société à responsabilité limitée simplifiée, registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number B308696 and registered on 11/06/2026. Registered office: 9 Rue Raymond Poincaré, 2342 Luxembourg.

PassEPSO provides an AI-powered preparation platform for EPSO and EU institution selection procedures. Preparation products are currently offered for AD5 Generalist, AD7 Audit, AD7 ICT, CAST (contract agent selection), and the Frontex Standing Corps. Each is bought separately, or together in one of the bundles described in section 4.

Depending on the product and plan you buy, the service includes adaptive practice questions, section and full exam simulations, score predictions, progress analytics, spaced repetition, the Ask Peter AI study assistant, and written-test (EUFTE) feedback for the competitions that include an essay. We also sell two standalone digital books, listed in section 4, which are separate products and are not included in any plan.

Some pages on this site describe competitions that have been announced but are not yet open — for example AD8 AI and Cybersecurity. Those pages register early interest only. They are not an offer of sale, and no preparation product is sold for a competition until we list it above.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Accounts

4. Plans, Products and Payment

Every PassEPSO product is a one-time payment. Nothing renews, there is no subscription, and there is nothing to cancel. Access to what you bought does not expire, and it includes the updates we publish for that product. The allowances that come with each plan are set out in section 5, and they are recurring allowances rather than a fixed stock.

Plans. AD5 Generalist, AD7 Audit, AD7 ICT and Frontex are each sold in three plans:

CAST is sold as a single product at EUR 79, which carries All-In level access to the CAST material.

Bundles. These give All-In access to each competition included:

Books. Sold on their own and not included in any plan or bundle:

Both books are permanent downloads: once bought, the files are yours to keep and to download again from your account.

5. What Each Plan Actually Allows

Two paid features are metered, and we set the numbers out here rather than leaving "unlimited" to do work it cannot do. These are recurring allowances: they reset, they are not a one-off quantity, and they apply for as long as you use the product.

Ask Peter (AI study assistant). Not included in Free or Starter. On Advanced you may ask up to 20 questions per day. On All-In there is no daily plan limit, but a safety ceiling of 200 questions per day applies. On every paid plan, two further ceilings apply: 20 questions per hour and 600 questions per calendar month.

Written-test (EUFTE) feedback. Not included in Free or Starter. On Advanced you may submit up to 10 graded drafts per calendar month. On All-In there is no monthly limit, but a safety ceiling of 20 graded drafts per day applies on any plan.

Practice questions are limited per day on Free and Starter, as listed in section 4, and are not limited by plan on Advanced or All-In.

These allowances exist to keep the service usable and its costs sustainable, not to reduce what you bought. We may adjust them, and if we reduce an allowance for a product you have already paid for we will tell registered users by email at least 14 days beforehand, on the same basis as section 14. A request that fails for a technical reason on our side does not consume an allowance.

6. Right of Withdrawal and Refund Policy

Under EU and Luxembourg consumer protection rules for distance contracts, consumers generally have a right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason, subject to the statutory rules that apply to digital content and digital services.

PassEPSO provides immediate access to digital preparation content and services after payment. Before a paid checkout is created, you are asked to give your express prior consent for that access to begin before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. That acknowledgement is required: checkout does not proceed without it, and the consent, the exact wording you accepted, the language you read it in and its timestamp are recorded with the purchase.

Once access has begun on that basis, you no longer have a right of withdrawal for that purchase. This is the exception for digital content not supplied on a physical medium in Article L.222-9, paragraph (7), point m) of the Luxembourg Code de la consommation, and it applies only where all three of its conditions are met: your prior express consent, your acknowledgement of the loss, and our confirmation of the contract on a durable medium.

That confirmation is the purchase-confirmation email we send to your registered address when payment completes. It restates what you bought, your express consent with its timestamp, the acknowledgement in the exact words you accepted, and a link to these terms. Keep it: it is your copy of the contract on a durable medium. If you did not receive it, tell us and we will resend it.

If you believe you have a withdrawal or refund right, contact us at [email protected] with your registered email address and purchase details. We will review the request under applicable consumer protection rules. Any refund due will be processed via Stripe to the original payment method.

Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights that you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

7. Content and Accuracy

PassEPSO is an independent preparation tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to EPSO, the European Commission, or any EU institution. Questions and materials are created based on publicly available EPSO documentation and official EU source documents. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that our content perfectly mirrors the actual exam.

8. Ask Peter AI Assistant

Ask Peter is an AI-assisted educational study aid for EPSO preparation and EU careers exam-related learning. AI-generated answers may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading and should not be treated as official EPSO guidance or as legal, professional, or other expert advice. You remain responsible for verifying important information against official EPSO, EU Careers, and EU institution sources before relying on it.

You must use Ask Peter responsibly and only for EPSO preparation or EU careers exam-related learning. You may not use it for abusive, unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, or unrelated purposes, or to disrupt, overload, or misuse the platform.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform (questions, explanations, software, design) is owned by Pass EPSO S.à r.l.-S or licensed to it. You may use it for personal study only. Redistribution, copying, or commercial use is prohibited.

10. Prohibited Use

11. Limitation of Liability

PassEPSO is provided "as is". We make no guarantees about exam outcomes. Your success in EPSO competitions depends on many factors beyond our platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

13. Dispute Resolution

We prefer to resolve any issues directly. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at [email protected] or via the contact form. We will respond within 30 days.

If we cannot resolve the matter directly, the European Commission's Consumer Redress information portal provides guidance on consumer redress and dispute-resolution bodies: https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/site-relocation_en.

For Luxembourg consumer mediation, you may also consult the Luxembourg National Service of the Mediator of Consumption (Service national du Médiateur de la consommation) via Guichet.lu: https://guichet.public.lu/en/entreprises/organismes/organismes_entreprises/mediateur-consommation.html.

The competent courts of Luxembourg shall have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

PassEPSO weekly book giveaway — rules

Organiser. Pass EPSO S.à r.l.-S, Luxembourg. Participation is free of any additional charge: the giveaway adds nothing to the price of any product and no purchase is made for the purpose of entering.

Weekly periods. The giveaway runs in consecutive weekly periods. Each period begins on a Tuesday at 00:00:00 and ends on the following Monday at 23:59:59, Europe/Luxembourg time. The first period began on Tuesday 25/08/2026 at 00:00:00, the day after the launch promotion for The Shape of the Answer closed on Monday 24/08/2026 at 23:59 Europe/Luxembourg time, so that the two never overlapped. The giveaway continues weekly until PassEPSO announces its end; ending it does not affect any period already completed.

How to enter. Entry is automatic and there is no form, code or registration step. A participant is entered into a weekly period when, during that period, they complete a valid, paid, non-refunded purchase that gives them All-In access — either a new All-In purchase or an upgrade to All-In from a lower plan. Each participant receives one entry per weekly period, regardless of how many purchases they make in it. A participant who already held All-In before the period begins has no qualifying purchase and is not entered. Team, internal and test accounts are excluded. Entries are re-checked immediately before the draw and an entry whose purchase has been refunded, charged back or cancelled by then is removed.

Prize. Per weekly period, the two PassEPSO books, each added as a permanent digital entitlement in the winner's PassEPSO account, in the formats in which that title is sold: The Story of the Union (EU knowledge) as ebook — PDF and EPUB — and audiobook, and The Shape of the Answer (abstract reasoning) as PDF and EPUB. There is no cash alternative and no substitution. The prize is not transferable.

Draw. The draw takes place on the Tuesday following the close of each weekly period. It is carried out by an automated, reproducible procedure: a random seed is generated and recorded together with the complete, ordered list of that period's entries and a SHA-256 fingerprint of that list, and each selection is derived from the recorded seed by a published rule. The recorded seed and entry list allow any selection to be recomputed and checked afterwards. Entry records are retained for audit.

Both titles, and a winner who already owns one. The first selection wins the period and receives both titles. If that participant already holds one of the two titles, that title is not withdrawn from the period and no cash or substitute is given for it: it is drawn again among the remaining participants of the same period until it reaches a participant who does not already hold it. If no such participant remains in that period, that title is not awarded for that period; it does not carry over.

Periods with no participants. If nobody qualifies in a weekly period, no prize is awarded for that period and nothing is carried over to the next one. The absence of a draw is recorded.

Notification and delivery. Winners are notified by email at the address on their PassEPSO account, and the titles are added to that account at the same time. There is nothing to claim, reply to or accept: delivery is not conditional on a response. If a notification cannot be delivered, PassEPSO retries; the entitlement remains in the account regardless.

Verification. PassEPSO may verify entries for duplicate accounts, abuse or technical manipulation, and may exclude an entry on those grounds, recording the reason.

Data. Personal data processed for the giveaway is limited to the account email address, the purchase identifier and the entry record, is used only to run and audit the giveaway, and is retained as accounting and audit evidence. See our privacy policy for rights and contact details.

Independence. PassEPSO is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to EPSO, the European Commission, or any EU institution. The giveaway is a PassEPSO promotion and does not imply any exam result, selection outcome, or official EPSO advantage.
