EPSO/AD/428/26 — Administrators in the field of Audit. Permanent official role in Brussels, Luxembourg or Strasbourg. Adaptive practice for every test in the procedure.
Supporting documents deadline: 30 September 2026. Tests communicated after applications close. Source: EU Careers (official).
We cover the reasoning tests shared across EPSO competitions, plus the audit-specific and essay stages unique to AD/428/26.
Same CBT format EPSO uses across AD, AST and CAST. Adaptive difficulty, immediate explanations, language of your choice.
Tables, ratios, percentages, growth. Built for time pressure — the pattern detection matters more than mental maths.
Grayscale patterns matching EPSO style. Every question breaks a rule for each distractor — trains exact discrimination.
Audit-specific knowledge module. Professional standards, public-sector audit, EU financial control context. Released in modules as we publish them.
Timed essay practice with structured rubric (clarity, EU context, argument, register). Model answers + self-review checklist.
Exact test list is confirmed in the official Notice of Competition. We update as EPSO publishes further details.
Unlike AD5 (graduate entry), AD7 requires documented audit experience. Most AD7 candidates are already working in audit, finance or internal control.
A university degree plus several years of professional experience including time in audit. The exact mix is specified in the Notice of Competition.
Main language at C1 level and a second at B2. The Notice of Competition confirms language combinations and scoring weights.
Open to EU nationals only. Check the full eligibility requirements in the official notice before starting your application.
AD7 competition leads to a reserve list for permanent official posts at grade AD 7 — not a temporary contract.
Always read the full Notice of Competition for authoritative eligibility details.

Applying for AD5 too? The reasoning modules are shared across EPSO competitions — your AD7 prep directly improves AD5 results and vice versa.
Tell us which modules matter most to you. The topics requested by the most candidates get built first.
Reasoning modules are ready today. Audit-specific and EU-essay content ships on a rolling release, prioritised by what candidates actually ask for.
Full access to Verbal, Numerical and Abstract Reasoning — identical CBT format to the AD7 online tests. Adaptive engine, timed exam simulations, 23 language options for reasoning where applicable.
Audit-field modules and EU-essay rubric ship as we build them, in the order candidates request. Every AD7 buyer receives all new modules automatically — no upsell.
If EPSO schedules the AD7 tests and any module you requested via "Shape the content" is not live at least 30 days before your test date, you get a full refund — no questions, no forms, no negotiation.
Why this model? AD7 is new for us — we'd rather over-deliver on the modules candidates tell us they need than guess wrong and waste both our time and yours. Your "Shape the content" requests are the roadmap.
Applications for EPSO/AD/428/26 close on 19 May 2026 at 12:00 Brussels time. Supporting documents (ID and diplomas) must be uploaded by 30 September 2026. The exact test dates are communicated by EPSO after the application window closes.
Successful candidates join the reserve list for permanent official posts in Brussels (Belgium), Luxembourg (Luxembourg) or Strasbourg (France), depending on the recruiting institution.
EU nationals with a university degree plus relevant professional experience, including experience in audit. Two EU languages are required (main at C1, second at B2). For the precise experience duration and language rules always consult the official Notice of Competition.
AD5 is graduate entry (no prior experience required); AD7 is for mid-career professionals with documented audit experience. AD7 also adds a field-specific audit test and typically an essay on EU matters on top of the reasoning tests shared with AD5.
Yes. Verbal, Numerical and Abstract Reasoning use the same CBT format across EPSO AD competitions. Everything you practise for AD5 reasoning translates directly to AD7. AD7 adds the audit field content and essay — both included in your AD7 access.
EPSO runs its computer-based tests on TAO (Open Assessment Technologies). Pass EPSO's timed exam simulations replicate the same format and time pressure so the real environment feels familiar on test day.
Your access is lifetime. Reasoning preparation carries over to the next EPSO cycle (AD5, AST, CAST, future AD7 rounds). Essay and audit-specific content keeps updating as EPSO publishes new guidance.
Every day counts. Create your account, run the diagnostic, start practising in minutes.
