10 questions, 20 min. Tables, ratios, percentages, growth. Pattern detection over mental maths. Combined with Abstract: 10/20.
10 questions, 10 min. Grayscale patterns matching EPSO style. Every distractor breaks exactly one rule.
30 questions, 40 min, in Language 2 (B2). Pass mark 15/30. Your ranking on this test decides whether your EUFTE is scored. Built field-by-field from EU regulations, ENISA, PM², GAIA-X.
40 minutes, in Language 2. Pass mark 5/10. Written communication on EU policy using provided documentation. ICT-policy prompts anchored in the AI Act, NIS2, DORA, Cyber Resilience Act, Digital Decade.

Unlike AD5 (graduate entry), AD7 ICT requires documented professional experience. Most candidates are mid-career engineers, architects, project managers or data scientists.
3-year degree + 7 yrs · 4-year degree + 6 yrs · 5-year degree + 5 yrs. Off-field degree + 9 yrs (8 yrs for Data Science). All experience in a relevant ICT discipline.
Language 1 at C1 (reasoning tests). Language 2 at B2 (field MCQ + EUFTE essay), chosen from any of the 24 official EU languages.

Applying for AD5 or AD7 Audit too? The reasoning modules are shared across EPSO AD competitions — your AD7 ICT prep directly improves AD5 / AD7 Audit results and vice versa.
Tell us which field modules and which EU policy topics matter most. The topics requested by the most candidates get built first.
Reasoning modules are ready today. ICT field-specific content and EUFTE policy prompts ship on a rolling release, prioritised by what candidates actually ask for — and anchored exclusively in official EU sources.
Full access to Verbal, Numerical and Abstract Reasoning — identical CBT format to the AD7 ICT online tests. Adaptive engine, timed exam simulations, multi-language support for reasoning.
Every ICT-field MCQ and every EUFTE prompt cites an official source: AI Act, NIS2, DORA, CRA, GDPR, Data Act, Digital Decade Decision, ENISA, EPSO notice. No vendor blogs. No invented numbers. Senior engineers detect hallucinations instantly — we don't ship them.
If EPSO schedules the AD7 ICT tests and any module you requested via "Shape the content" is not live at least 30 days before your test date, you get a full refund — no questions, no forms, no negotiation.
Why this model? AD7 ICT candidates are senior practitioners — engineers, architects, PMs, data scientists with 5–9 years on the job. Anything less than rigorous source-linked content gets caught immediately. We'd rather under-promise and over-deliver than guess.
Applications for EPSO/AD/429/26 (ICT) close on 10 June 2026 at 12:00 Brussels time. Supporting documents (ID and diplomas) must be uploaded by 1 October 2026, 12:00 Brussels time. The exact test dates are communicated by EPSO after the application window closes; tests are scheduled for autumn 2026.
EPSO/AD/429/26 publishes 782 places across four fields: ICT Infrastructure (204), ICT Project Management (228), Clouds and Networks (166), Data Science (184). You can only apply for one field. Each field has its own field-specific MCQ.
Successful candidates join the reserve list for permanent official posts at AD 7 in Brussels (Belgium) or Luxembourg (Luxembourg), depending on the recruiting institution.
One of: 3-year degree + 7 years, 4-year degree + 6 years, 5-year degree + 5 years of relevant ICT experience. Off-field degree path: 3-year degree + 9 years (8 years for Data Science). For the precise wording always consult the official Notice of Competition.
Five test areas: Verbal Reasoning (20 Q / 35 min, in L1), Numerical Reasoning (10 Q / 20 min, in L1), Abstract Reasoning (10 Q / 10 min, in L1), Field-specific MCQ (30 Q / 40 min, in L2, pass mark 15/30), and the EUFTE essay on EU matters (40 min, in L2, pass mark 5/10). No SJT. No separate Digital Literacy test.
AD5 is graduate entry (no prior experience required) and tests across all 6 areas including Digital Literacy. AD7 Audit and AD7 ICT both require documented professional experience and add a field-specific MCQ plus the EUFTE essay. The reasoning tests (Verbal/Numerical/Abstract) are shared in format across all three competitions — practice transfers directly.
Our EUFTE prompt pool for AD7 ICT is anchored in the AI Act, NIS2, DORA, Cyber Resilience Act, GDPR, Data Act, Data Governance Act, Open Data Directive, the Digital Decade Policy Programme, Gaia-X and the EU Chips Act. Each prompt names the policy tension and lists the official sources a strong answer should cite.
EPSO runs its computer-based tests on TAO (Open Assessment Technologies). Pass EPSO's timed exam simulations replicate the same format and time pressure so the real environment feels familiar on test day. Tests are taken online and proctored remotely.
Your access is lifetime. Reasoning preparation carries over to the next EPSO cycle (AD5, AST, CAST, future AD7 rounds). Field-specific and EUFTE content keeps updating as EPSO publishes new guidance and as EU policy evolves.
Every day counts. Create your account, run the diagnostic, start practising in minutes.
